Original Arabic. “Love on the Pyramid Plateau” is a novel whose events are set in a social, romantic framework. It is about a young employee who cannot provide the expenses of his marriage. He and his fiancee decide to get married secretly. But, after they fail to get a suitable place for thier private moments, they could only find the pyramid plateau. But the morality police exposes their marriage. They are arrested on charges of conducting obscene activity in a public road. The novel sheds light on the problems of young people and the difficult conditions they face in their attempt to realise the simplest of their dreams.
