This book – the author calls it “a melancholic account” – is an intellectual autobiography of Joseph Agassi, which especially focusses on his relation to Karl R. Popper. Moreover it affords interesting insights into philosophical discussion within the Popper-circle in London as well as into relations among his students of that time (Imre Lakatos, William W. Bartley, Paul Feyerabend).
