Frankenstein; or, the Modern Prometheus

Often misrepresented as a horror story, Frankenstein is the disturbing but surprisingly affecting tale of a scientist who creates a live being from pieces of cadavers, only to repudiate his own creation as a disgusting freak. The resulting creature is highly intelligent, and after making several failed attempts to gain recognition from Frankenstein, it begins to plot an unforgettable revenge.
