Hafiz English-Persian

Hafez (1320-1389) is best known as a Sufi mystic who incorporated elements of Sufism into his verses. The state of God-Realisation is symbolised through union with a Beloved, and drinking the wine of spiritual love.

This Divan of Hafiz is published in a limited edition by Aban Books of Tehran. Each page has the original Persian text at the top with a full English translation by Henry Wilberforce Clarke at the bottom. Each page features a floral border to enhance the text. Includes an introduction in Persian
