Notre Dame In Paris: A Cathedral Which Is A Testimony Of History

The title of this booklet clearly indicates the originality of its contents. Was it really necessary to produce yet another publication for our visitors while several others already exist which give all the necessary information for an enlightened visit of the cathedral? The point is precisely we are not proposing a descriptive or explanatory guide book, however erudite it may be, but we would like rather to lead the visitor-reader into a process which is too often skipped over when in fact it is at the very heart of what a guide book should “discovering and understanding.”
