Religion as Story

This collection of essays on the relationship between story and religion, was originally published by Harper & Row in 1975. Six unique perspectives were selected for inclusion: philosophy of religion, theology of culture, biblical history, psychology, history, and religion and literature. Each essay corresponds to its author’s experience of stories, and each indicates the way in which our thinking is being informed and transformed by encounters with stories.
