Stories for Christmas

The first collected Edition of Dicken’s contributions to the Christmas numbers of ‘Household Words’ and ‘All the Year Round’ was issued in the ‘Charles Dickens’ Edition of his works in 1871, under the general title of Christmas Stories from ‘Household Words’ and ‘All Year Round’. The present Edition includes, in addition, the following five stories: ‘A Christmas Tree’, ‘The Poor Relation’s Story’, ‘The Child’s Story’, ‘The Schoolboy’s Story’, and ‘Nobody’s Story’, which originally appeared in Reprinted Pieces.
