The Firebird Trilogy

On the planet Netaia, extra heirs to royal families, deemed “wastlings” are expected to honorably commit suicide after the royal line has been established. Firebird, the third daughter of Netaia’s queen, has doubts about whether or not this is what she is meant to do. Brennan is one of the most powerful of an ancient race called the Ehritans, who have psychic powers and can manipulate matter with their minds. This trilogy chronicles the relationship between Firebird and Brennan as their beliefs about each other, and themselves, are affected by their interactions.
