This novel is alive with its five main characters and the 1938 green Packard convertible which all shared as ownership transferred between them over the years. Covering descriptive events of the 1940’s through the 1970’s, it is filled with thrilling WW2 activity, romantic persuits of true love, and many other actions tht bring this story to life for the reader to become absorbed into it and want to experience again and again. Truly a classic novel.
