It was a long time since Katherine had seen her brother Darin, but she had always been devoted to him, and she was dreadfully worried when she heard that he had disappeared, somewhere in Queensland in Northern Australia. She knew she would not be able to rest until she had gone up there to find out for herself what had happened. But the problem of Darin’s whereabouts paled into insignificance in the face of the much greater problem of how to cope with his boss, the ruthless – and devastatingly attractive – Curt Dangerfield.
